Mobile Optimist Sailing School (MOSS)
  • BC Sailing is offering a Mobile Optimist Sailing School (MOSS) that travels to selected communities throughout the province each summer. The purpose of the Program is to build the sailing and recreation boating culture in BC by providing affordable, safe, and fun summer day-camps for youth aged 6 – 15 with fun and educational activities both on and off the water.


NEWS FLASH!!! This year BC Sailing has selected Bowen Island as one of the lucky communities they will bring this great Program to this summer. Due to the great enthusiasm for the this Program and the limited spaces, we strongly encourage early registration to be sure you get a spot. DEADLINE FOR REGISTRATION IS MAY 31. This is a super popular Program to introduce first-time and/or younger people to sailing. The 2009 schedule is available to view and on-line registration is now open. Students can begin registering and make payments on-line through the MOSS website at this time (http://www.bcsailing.bc.ca/content/moss/main.asp).
