The Bowen Island Yacht Club is a friendly, family-oriented club which has provided a sail training program for over 20 years. All BIYC staff are experienced, trained, and certified by the Canadian Yachting Association to offer CYA accredited courses. Learners enjoy quality sail instruction in a fun and safe environment. Come sail with us and experience the exhilaration of learning to sail!

BIYC is looking to grow its programs and expand to meet the needs of our community. In addition to our tried and true sail training programs, new this summer are the Members Open Sailing and the BIYC Junior Sailing Club. NEW also this summer are two fantastic programs: The Mobile Optimist Sailing School (for children 6 - 15 years) The Fun Sailing Week (for youth 10 - 16 years who have completed White Sails II)
